No side bar option on Shop page

  • Hi there,

    I’m trying to put a menu on the lefthand of the Shop page on my site but when I go to Widgets, it only offers to place in the footer.

    I’m trying to add a menu to the left-hand side of my Shop page so customers can select by category or tag.

    Any ideas?

    Please add widgets to Sidebar Left widget area from Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets. Note that you need to set sidebar layout to Left Sidebar as instructed here for WooCommerce Page: https://docs.zakratheme.com/en/article/how-to-change-the-layout-of-the-woocommerce-page-1mrfs0w/

    Thanks for your reply. I have followed your instruction but I still can’t get it to give me the option to have WooCommerce Left Side Bar on the main page when I click on Shop?

    It works it if I open one of the links from the main menu drop down but not when I click on the main menu link (shop) itself. This is hard to describe.

    If I click on the word Shop from the main menu, it brings up a page with all the shop products. This is the page that I can’t add the widget to.

    It says under the customiser “Your theme has 10 other widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.

    You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customiser to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”

    It displays on the pages if I click on the menu items themselves only.

    While checking your site, I couldn’t access it as it is password protected. Also, It seems I couldn’t understand the problem properly. So, either please make your site accessible or contact us via zakratheme.com Chat Support.
