No side stuff on post pages

What theme are you using? It’s probable that whatever theme you’re using doesn’t use sidebars on single post pages.

Not added any theme – just whatever comes with 3.2.

That is the way it was designed.
It can be changed, bu creating a child theme, and coding it in.
Or a different theme can be found
