No sidebar wordpress

    Hello,

    I’m a french girl, so sorry for my english.

    I want to know if it’s possible to have a sidebar in index page but not in single page for full width post ?

    I have already navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Sidebar Layout and select “no-sidebar” but my sidebar disappear in my index page…

    The theme does not have this option.

    Hello,

    I was also looking to have full-width posts, but to keep the sidebar on the other pages. Shouldn’t there be a way to hide the widget area with CSS?

    I finally looked in the source code of the page single.php and I deleted the code <? Php get_sidebar (); ?> Who simply called himself alone in the sidebar article page.
    Then I adapted my page single.php.

    J’ai finalement regardé dans le code source de la page single.php et j’ai supprimé le code <?php get_sidebar(); ?> qui apelle simplement le sidebar dans la page d’article seule.
    Puis j’ai adapté ma page single.php.
