no sidebars on category page

Hi!

I have the following issue. I would like to integrate a “site” to my navigation bar which is a blog. In my navigation bar I do have sites. For the “blog” I integrated a “category page” to my navigation named “news”.

When I click on the topic “news” in my navigation a site opens showing my last posts. Thats fine! BUT the I can`t make the sidebars appear on that “category page” called “news”. How can I make the sidebar appear? I DID set the appearence to the layout with sidebar when I created the posts. By clicking on one of the posts on the category page on the next page the sidebar is shown.

Can`t understand what I did wrong???
