“No sitemap found” message seen at the sitemap.xml file

    I have newly installed Google XML Sitemaps plugin.

    The sitemap.xml page shows the error: No sitemap found. Maybe it’s being generated. Please try again later.

    I had Yoast plugin installed earlier, but I have deleted it right now, to check with this issue.

    I would really appreciate any help or pointers. Thanks.

    This issue is resolved. It was occurring because a Jetpack option for enabling sitemaps was accidentally on, and that was creating a conflict.

    It’s a good thing that I search the error message before opening new forum thread. I also suffer from the same error, was panicking since last night. For anyone who got same problem just disable Jetpack sitemap through Jetpack > Settings > Traffic, and then disable Generate XML Sitemaps options.
