No slider en widgets on homepage after migration

I migrated my website to another domain. The widgets on most pages work fine, but on the homepage the sidebar doesn’t appear. I get the ‘your theme has 9 widget areas but this particular page doesn’t display them’ message when I go to Customizer > Widgets.
Also, the slider is empty. I can see the settings in Theme Options > Homepage but I only get an empty div called “rslides-container”.

I tried re-uploading the theme but that didn’t make any difference. How can I fix this?
