Hello, I hope you are well.

I am using TranslatePress to translate my site.

In an instance where in the original language I have a word in bold, separated from the next word with a comma, and in the in the translated version I want the two words not to be separated with a comma, the two words are stuck together without a space.

    Please see attached:

The text in bold, separated from the rest with a comma. TranslatePress detects the text in bold as a separate string from the previous text and the text after.

    In English:

I tried to add spacing after the text in bold or before the next sentence, but it was reverted after saving. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello there,

    Thank you for reaching us!

In order to be translated correctly including the spaces, you need to use the merge function in order to be correctly translated.

Here is our documentation regarding this:https://translatepress.com/docs/translation-editor/#translation-blocks

Try this and let me know if this solved your issue!

    Kind Regards,

Hey, I appreciate your reply. Thanks so much!

I was able to set it up like that, it’s perfect.

Do you have a tip on merging translations that have already been made in separate strings, as in the situation above, or do I have to manually do it for each text?

Also I have a similar issue in another area of the site. It’s an “Animated headline” widget (by Elementor, if that matters). Part of the text comes with an animation effect. Translatepress detects both the separate sentences as regular strings under strings list (like all regular text) and also each letter as a separate string, under “dynamic strings”:

When I translate the strings (using the standard way from the “strings list”), there are no spaces between the letters/ words and it’s as if each letter is a separate string (please see below):

I tried disabling dynamic strings translation from the plug-in settings as pointed out in one of your guides but still the translated version appears as one:

Any guidance would be much appreciated, thank you once again!
