No spanish translation, latest TML version in use

I have copied your spanish .po and .mo files to about 6 different language folders on my site, including all the obvious ones like your language folder and the wordpress language folder, both in the root and under theme-my-login. Copied them to my theme folder too. Still get no spanish translation. Other plugins translate. What am I doing wrong?
