I use sticky posts to highlight some posts in my blog, but as far as I can see, podcasts posts created with this plugin can’t be set as sticky. Is this by design? Any chances to add this feature in a future update?

Is there a particular plugin you’re using to create these Sticky posts or is that handled by your theme? Should be available for use with the plugin. The one thing I’d check is to see if they support Custom Post Types if you’re publishing your podcast episodes in the Podcast area/post type.

No, it’s the built-in WordPress feature — this one.

It doesn’t show up when I’m editing a podcast custom post. See:

When I’m editing a normal post, the option to stick it shows up (“Fixar este post na página inicial”; it’s Brazilian Portuguese):

    Any idea?

    Hello @rghedin,

The SSP plugin creates a Custom Post Type and by default WordPress Sticky Posts work only for posts and not other post types. However, this is functionality that could be provided and we’ve added it to our list for review. Thanks for pointing it out.

In the interim, you may be able to get a third party plugin in the repo that will allow you to create sticky posts for CPTs.

    Cheers!
