no student view within a lms, but instructor and admin sees working crossword

I am really lost, outside of my lms it all works fine, but as soon it gets into a closed area, it fails.
Btw. it is buddypress that closes the system.

I am facing a strange pobleme.
First off all, all my plugins and theme are up to date.
secondly I am using a pluging: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/crosswordsearch/

it is a great way of learning from crosswordsearch, but it is not working within the closed coursesystem

The plugin is working outside of the lms systeme, but has problemes with linebreaks for example from cleverrach (newsletter stuff) https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/…-upgrade-to-40 and do not show on student views

since I included a short example on the start the course page, i can use the plugin on instructor and admin pages, that do not show within courses for students as needed

I need the puzzle to show either in the unit or the assignment page for students to do it and then send in their findings. With that I want to grate their work

I am also going to show that to the developer, but he has no admin rights like you do Mr. Vibe. Do you need credentials again?

I can’t see too much of what is happening here.

free unit instructor view: seems to work

free unit student view: from the pic I would conclude the plugin is not initialized. This might be a case that is similar to what happens with the ClearReach code: a script that should be loaded before the crosswordsearch plugin has a syntax error and crashes everything loaded afterwards. But without seeing the live page this is pure speculation.

free assignment student view: this looks truely strange. I can see the background scripts needed for crosswordsearch are loaded, but the the part that needs to be embeded directly into the page is not.

Frankly, it looks like only the first sentence of the post is included, the way you would see it on an overview page where only a teaser is shown, followed by a “read on” link. (with the link, in this case, missing)

If there is a “More…/Weiterlesen…” break in the post, you could try to remove it. What happens then?

I do not see a “more” or “read on” break in the line. It is nothing I would do actively include by putting up my lesson plans.

However, thanks for the information, I will let you know, if there is a solution by the theme developer.

BTW I am translating a “Sie” Version for the plugin, would you like to get a copy?
