    Hello.

At the moment there is no ability to do that. Client dashboard was designed specially to be separate page which has good looking in any theme.

    Regards.

Is there any plan in the near future to have your client dashboard/invoice page display with in the wordpress theme? Your plugin description does not clearly state this VERY important limitation. I have already paid for premium upgrades and add-ons but your plugin is useless to me (and my clients) until it displays WITH-IN my(thier) wp themes.

    Hello,Rhinoman.

What is the issue displaying client dashboard/invoice on wordpress theme can you clarify?

    Regards.

Yeah this is crazy to not allow for the client dashboard content to flush within the theme. YOU guys might say its good looking in any theme, except the fact that if the theme doesn’t really match the theme you’ve created for the client dashboard then its not good looking at all… or seemless and makes it feel like the user is on a completely different site.

I think most people would be happy with at leat being able to keep the header & footer of their actual theme and then letting the client dashboard area just fill the “content” zone.

Is there anyway to do that? It does sort of become a deal breaker for many user, as stated above, because clients dont wanna see that.. and the “back to website” link, links back to my sites homepage which is also very annoying.

At the moment there is no way to do that, but thank you for pointing. We will try to improve that in the next releases.

Hey guys, I found a great solution for this problem in another support wp-invoices thread. Check it out here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-wp-invoice-web-invoice-and-billing-wp-invoice-shortcodes-dont-work?replies=4

Yea, [wp-invoice-history] is still exist and you can use and style it up to your themes.

So, any page designated as the Client Dashboard or the Invoice Page will never fully adopt the current theme or display it’s content within the current theme?

    Hello,Flashpaper.

Client Dashboard was designed specially to have good looking in any theme. Yes, it will always have the same design in all themes. But you still can copy this template to your theme wpi folder and there customize it up to your needs.

    Regards.

OK, so here is where a language barrier might not be serving your company well. Those files your plugin copies to the a subfolder called /wpi of the current theme, are not related to the website’s current theme. So a more accurate way of saying this is: “The Client Dashboard has it’s own default theme that you must override with a set of template files we provide so you can manually approximate the design of your website for that page. The Client Dashboard currently will not adopt your current theme like the Invoice page will.”

Once I understood that and stopped trying to make this thing “work with any theme” (can you see why that is confusing when you say that?) I was able to move forward with my project…although now I have lost 2 days trying to figure out what I did wrong only to realize I did nothing wrong (for once…usually it really is my fault!).

I’ve sent an e-mail to Elena as well, encouraging your company to review the way it communicates about it’s plugin capabilities. Your products are really really good. It would not have mattered to me that the Client Dashboard has this limitation. I would have used it anyway and let my client know that the workflow would be modified. It might be a language barrier. I have some Swiss-German clients that often say things that don’t quite translate into what they intended, so to me it appears that might be what is happening here. I hope my feedback will help you correct that communication problem on your website and in your technical documentation soon, because I really like your plugins and I really intend to keep on using them!

    Cheers!

Flashpaper, didn’t want to confuse you. Sentence Client Dashboard will have good looking in any theme means that it will have it’s own good looking design, unlike of shortcode:[wp-invoice-history]. This template is ready and not require any customization. But if you need to have it match your brand colors there should be done some customization which you can do in your theme folder.
