    Hi There,

Please, How can I rectify the problem of no success message being displayed after a user has entered the fields on the booking form and submits the form. After clicking on the submit button, There is no success message displayed to the user and the text entered on the textboxes and TextArea boxes also displays even though the form has been submitted. I get the message on the backend but the user sometimes feel that their message hasn’t gone through.

Please Note that I have configured the success message on the settings of the events manager plugin. Please any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

Seems to be the same problem i ran into: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/js-seems-to-be-buggy-while-booking-a-ticket/

Do you use enfold by any chance? I will let you know if i find something.

    Hi NetwebLogic_Support,

Thank you very much for your reply. Yes I had already done what you instructed by deactivating the other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. What I noticed again was that the booking forms only shows the success message for login users. I am yet to try switching to the default theme but I don’t really think that is the problem.

    Hi patrickbln,

Thanks for your support. Please update me if you can resolve the issue. I would keep trying on my site to see if I can get it resolved and update on results as well.

    Thanks Guys.

Can you test with the default theme?

    Hi cainmin_nwl,

Thanks for the feedback. I have tried using the default twenty seventeen theme and the problem still persist. Like I said earlier, this does not happen for loggedin users only anonymous users trying to book an event. If users are logged in, the success message goes through. But I don’t users trying to book an event to always register.

Thanks for the feedback. It is very much appreciated.

    Hi,
I have exactly the same problem ; unregistred members don’t get any info after submitting the form. It creates a new user, and the booking is registereg in the backoffice, but no email is sent to the user.

I tried without other plugins, with another theme : the problem remains. Any news ?
    Tks

@omoz4real What payment gateway are you using? It doesn’t look the anything supplied with Events Manager.

@zeubest You may have a different problem to this one, can you open a new thread? Thanks.

    Hi @caimin_nwl,

I am not actually using any payment gateway. The payment transaction is just a link to the banks website.

    (@caimin_nwl)

You seem to be using a payment gateway from beanstream.com – how was that added?

    Thread Starter omoz4real

    (@omoz4real)

    Hi cainmin_nwl,

Very sorry for the late reply. The payment gateway from beanstream.com was added to the page through an hyperlink which was added on the Booking/Registrations description textarea field when adding an event on the back end. This is actually how the hyperlink looks like on the description field

<div class=”register-now”>Click HERE to PAY NOW and get 5% discount.</div>

Could it be the one causing the problem?

Thanks again for your help so far.

    Hi cainmin_nwl,

Here is an actual link to test what I am trying to solve. In the bookings page, if a user registers, the form doesn’t clear the input fields after submission. The payment gateway can be seen as an hyperlink under the bookings sub-heading. If a user clicks on the link, it directs them to the bank website.

    Thanks.
