    Hello,
I have installed and setted up W3 Total plugin few times, and now when I scanning my site with antivirus I am getting some error, could you please tell me what can I do with this?

[Nov 20 00:01:27] opendir(/wp-content/cache/db/comments/): Failed to open directory: No such file or directory (2) File: /wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Util_File.php Line: 133

    Hello @iamwpuser

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
This means that the W3TC tried to remove a directory that does not exist anymore. This is not an error.
Check if the folder exists in the /wp-content/cache/db/
I would also suggest not using the Disk caching method when using Database caching as it’s not recommended. The best way to utilize this feature is to use Memory based caching like Redis or Memcached.

    Thanks!

    Hello @iamwpuser

    Thank you for your feedback.
Judging by your other post, you are on a shared server. I would recommend disabling the database cache because this may slow down your website on a shared server because fetching the data is much faster getting from the database, than from the disk.

    Thanks!
