  • Did you go to the GetShopped support forums?

Note, they only provide paid support, so if you didn’t signup for premium support, that’s why.

I think their is a big difference between the level of support that Paid Support and Fourum/Community support covers. It looks like the WPEC crew have all but abandoned the Forum/Community support side and lets face it… Their plugin is full of little annoyances that no one wants to pay $47 bucks for.

Hiding behind the paid support model does not inspire confidence in the average user and that is their biggest market. Someone with a site that wants to sell a few things.

There’s a great explanation of the support by one of the lead devs here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/support-explanation?replies=13#post-

I agree with Delirium Comics, and have read the link posted by Mordauk.

I dont usually even vote/rate plugins but I rated this one and made a comment because i hope that someone looking at installing a e-commerce plugin will see some of these comments and choose another plugin before they spend too much time installing, adding content and trying to debug this plugin, as I wish I had.

I am not making any money from the site that I was using this plugin on, it is my sisters site and I am helping her out. I suggested she use a e-commerce plugin to set up the site now so if she decides to sell online in the future it is easy to do, so Im not paying $47 for support. I am also in South Africa, so $47 is pretty pricey when converted to Rands.
