No support given – Plugin abandoned?

From the looks of the support forum, this plugin is all but abandoned. After the sale to MailPoet there’s only been a few updates, basically just changing the name and adding an advertisement for MailPoet. That’s fine, but please don’t let the plugin die and please answer support questions and bug reports on here.

This seems to be a new trend, for companies to purchase much-used and beloved plugins (often from single devs), only to brand them with their own name and ads and then to let it slowly wither and die. Or, even worse, to completely ruin the plugin by taking out features, such as what happened with GADWP (their review score is utterly down the drain).

Really hoping either MailPoet will step up and start work on this plugin again, or alternatively, some other active dev to fork the project and submit it under a new name.
