• I am a plugin author. I rarely do this. The author is non-responsive, I had my client donate 20 Euro, in order to receive the promised longer lasting license from qtranslate when they implemented the pro version of the plugin (if they actually do that). It’s a good thing I didn’t ask them to donate more since the survey didn’t specify how much was a good amount.

    My client received no response email after the donation was made and the author doesn’t seem to be available on github or www.ads-software.com. That donation page has been up for several months and no update from the Author on the status of qtranslate development and what’s supposed to happen to the money my client and other users donated.

    It feels like this survey is some kind of donation funnel so I advise you not donating unless you could receive some kind of response from the author letting you know what will happen to the donated amount.

  • Thank you for that information. I was at beginning of big project with wordpress in base and I must decide will I use qTranslate X ot write some kind of my own because i need just base translating. I have used qtranslate-X on other sites and was ready to donate, but i’ll wait for some clearence about future of this plugin.
