No Tags Message – not displaying

    I set the “No Tags Message” to “no tags.” in the Events Manager Admin (Settings > Formats/Layouts > Events Format > No Tags message); however, when I try to display the “no tags.” value on an event (by using #_EVENTTAGS) it only displays a blank value…not “no tags.” as it should.

    When I have tags attached to the event, I see them just fine. Am I misunderstanding the #_EVENTTAGS placeholder? My understanding is that it will print a list of tags if there are some, else it will print the No Tags message.

    Just for reference, I attempted to do the same thing with displaying categories by using the #_EVENTCATEGORIES placeholder. When there are categories, I see a list of them…when there are none, I see “no categories.” as expected.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Is this using EM version 5.4.3 ? since your settings at (Settings > Formats/Layouts > Events Format > No Tags message) is from old EM version ?

    Yes, I’m running version 5.4.3. Path is Settings > Formatting > Event Tags > No Tags message.

    ‘No Tags message’ will be used by the tag page you set using options at Events > Settings > Pages > Event Tags > Tags page however if you want to have a message like that you can modify template file at wp-content/plugins/events-manager/templates/placeholders/eventtags.php which placeholder #_EVENTTAGS used.
