• I was very surprised after I was urged to edit some (unknown) content ..
Well, I tried to edit (what?), but the notice does not disppear. Well, I don’t have any spare time to do some crazy things that you want me do do, but you do not explain. Consequently, I will switch to a different plugin that is really easy to use.
    Thanks for nothing.

    Hello @bsoftde,

I am sorry to read you didn’t have a satisfying experience with Newsletter. I’m not sure what we “urged ” you to do, but usually our service messages and notifications are quite accurate and they show up only when an action from the user is required in order to get Newsletter fully work. Are you sure you did use our plugin and not a similarly named one?

I would definitely like to complete the setup in places that may still be missing. But you would need to know what that is. And as long as your server returns a 500 error, unfortunately no help is available at all. Instead, there are messages such as “License Check Failed” and “Verification not possible” – none of this really helps without further explanation.

Hi, there was a maintenance operation, now the site is available. The “license check failed” means the license set on the Newsletter’s main settings is not correct or the account used to get the license was created with an invalid email (or the email provider refuses our messages) and it cannot be contacted. If you cannot log in or recover the password on https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com, I suggest registering again and getting a new license.

Another reason can be a block by your provider when the blog tries to connect to the validation service or our firewall has a blacklist for the IP of your provider. Excess of restrictions may happen on both sides.

BTW, the license is NOT required, you can even avoid entering it at all and get the free addons, if you need them, directly from the https://www.thenewsletter.com site on your account page.

PS: usually we can solve those problems if we’re contacted directly or via the WP forum, the review system is not the best way to get the issues solved. If you contacted us and we missed to reply, please let me know so I can verify why it happened.

Thank you for yout collaboration, Stefano.
