• hey All…
I’m working on a website that I think could be on WordPress.com…i know there is some difference…but not sure how much.

When I logged in to see what the status was and to play with the theme, there was no theme option.

any idea how I can fix this?

    if it’s because it’s wordpress.com, can i transfer the site to a www.ads-software.com site.

    here is the site, https://www.karinaleblanc.com

    Thank you,

  • Your site is hosted at GoDaddy, running on WordPress (ORG) software (WordPress version 3.3.1). It is not a .COM site.

    there was no theme option.

You can download some themes of your choice and upload using your dashboard (look at Appearance). Or you can browse there and install themes.

As you run an outdated version of WordPress, it is recommended that you update WordPress to the latest version.

Backup everything, including database, so that in case anything goes wrong, you can always restore your current site.

I don’t see an area for Appearance, or Widgets on my dashboard. Usually I would just jump right into it…

    Theres:
    Dashboard
    Posts
    Media
    Links
    Pages
    Comments
    Profiles
    Tools
    Gallery

Nothing in any of those submenus.

Is there a way to backup without having a “backup” widget which is how I typically use?

Looks like the site is running Version 3.3.1
