No theme will install – Stuck at requesting..

  • Hi guys,

    Any theme I upload just hangs on requesting from domain/host.

    I’ve packaged the themes correctly in the zips, tried multiple themes, tried uploading on both my host and a clients, tried uploading via FTP but nothing shows up in the dashboard once the folders are in the file manager.

    What the heck.

    Anyone know what the problem could be?

    What’s the error messagge?

    – Check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.

    To follow up on Tara’s tip, I’d also suggest you check your access logs at your server to see what’s happening during your uploads.

    BTW, what do you mean by “clients”?

    Hi,

    Try this- Copy your theme’s zip file directly in wp-content->theme.
    And activate it from dashboard. Check if problem still exists.
