    Hello,

    Site is https://www.armidalepotteryclub.org

I use only work with Firefox but today I tested the site with IE7. None of the themes I have tried will work with IE7, not even the two WP default themes. The site works perfectly with FF, but with IE. . . . nothing!

    Any suggestions?

I should also have added that I did search these fora tried a couple of the suggestions, but none worked.

I am at a loss to understand why the site would work perfectly in FF and Chrome but simply not work in IE7.

Further to my two earlier posts. I did find the article posting related to migrating themes to WP v2.7 and followed the links to themes proved to work with v2.7. I chose and uploaded the theme called QuickPress, but unfortunately the problem remains the same ie, none of the themes work in IE7 as all they do is load the header image and a couple of lines and that’s it.

    Pleas help.

It’s probably your IE7 install. I have IE7 installed and all of my themes work fine, and I have over 900 installed on my WPMU 2.7 installation. Did you try reinstalling IE

What’s a link to your site with an installed theme?

I tried the site on three different computers and it did not work on any of them. As well, another WP site work fine.

The site that is causing problems is https://www.armidalepotteryclub.org

I went to the link you provided and saw the Quickpress theme you have installed. Am I missing something? Looks fine to me from here ??

Okay, then it must be something here, though I am at a loss to understand what it might be. None of the three computers in my home will load the website in IE7, even though each of them loads it in FF.

Selfmade, did you check the site with IE7 or a different browser? The problem is only with IE.

I can see the problem in IE7. The display cuts off after the title of the most recent post – the content of which has been pasted in from Word – which is probably what is causing the problem. If you switch the HTML tab in the Post Editor, you’ll see all of the additional rubbish that has also been inserted from Word. Clean that out and the problem may well disappear.

I found the solution here on the fora:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/215124

It was a problem with pasting from Word.

    Thankyou esmi and salefmade!
