No thumbnail is showed on Facebook preview link

  • Hi,

    We have a problem with the thumbnail of the Facebook preview. These are not shown on Facebook when we want to link a page on Facebook. On other platforms such as Whatsapp it works fine.

    When I look into the Sharing Debugger then I see that there is a link, but it does not show in the preview. What can be the problem?

    Hi @aronadmin

    I have tested the URL on FaceBook Developer Tool and by sharing the post URL on FaceBook. I noticed the image appears correctly.

    From the page source of the page roadtrip-van-salt-lake-city-naar-seattle-route-tips-bezienswaardigheden/, I noticed the og:image URL is showing correctly.

    Can you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies before restarting your browser? If you’re unfamiliar with clearing cache, we have a?guide?to walk you through the process. Please try a different modern browser or another device if the issue remains after clearing the browser cache.

    Thanks for the feedback! I also though that the problem was solved, but now I see that this blog has the same problem:

    In the html the meta tag : 

    <meta property="og:image" content="https://www.we12travel.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Headerfoto-Chinese-Muur.jpg" class="yoast-seo-meta-tag">

    Also I have change the robot.txt to allow to crawl the website.

    Is there anything else can solve this problem?
