    Hi there,

I’m new to this plugin, and would love to use it as it ticks all the boxes for my use case. Additionally, reading through the comments and support forum, I see that the developper is very active: thanks already for the good work and time spent there!

I have set up a website for our association, but the result with the WPPA plugin is disappointing and far from the screenshots I can see here and there.

The gallery landing page displays no thumbnail, and no link seems to work. When inspecting the page, I can see that the address for the thumbnail is correct and accessible.

I suspect an issue with my installation, or with the Ajax frontend – but this is far above my current knowledge. I have tried to tinker with some Ajax frontend related settings, to no avail (advanced/system/items 4, 5 etc).

If you could give me a pointer to which direction to explore, that would be very helpful – I must confess that I am lost here.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Php 8.2

    WPPA 9.0.02.001

    WordPress 6.7.1

    Cache plugin desactivated.

PS: the galery page is protected with a password (WPPA)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

At first inspection: a major part of the required javascript code is not loaded.

If you have any plugin that optimizes or changes load sequence of js code, please de-activate at least that function.

    Dear Jacob,

Thank you so much for your prompt reply, and nice pointer: there is indeed an incompatibility with the plugin “Profile Grid” which I didn’t suspect, as it has nothing to do with optimization.

I will investigate further and see if I can modify it to accomodate WPPA, otherwise I will have to find other options.

    Resolved:

The ProfileGrid plugin has an option to “combine Javascript files used by ProfileGrid” (under Tools/Performance): turning this off solved the issue.

    Thanks again for your help.

    A happy user!

Thanx for coming back to me with this info. Most usefull. I will report the issue to the ProfileGrid boys that they should not cancel the load of other plugins js files!
