• Recently my blog posts have no thumbnail photo showing on the homepage, only a broken link image. (if you visit my site, it will be the first 3 blog posts.) Usually the thumbnail would be automatically generated from a photo I insert into the post. But it’s not doing it anymore. I tried using the ‘Featured Image’ option on the post page, but that doesn’t work either. I am using Perogato theme, and noticed this problem after I had to download and use TimThumb Vulnerabilty Scanner plugin.

    My website is

Thanks to anybody who can help!

  • Have you tried removing the plugin then going back and reinserting the images into the post, update the post and view it (may have to refresh to see changes)? If the images work when the plugin is not running then there may be a conflict. At least one step to rule out that issue anyway.

I’d be happy to help trouble shot if that doesn’t may a difference.

try deactivating the plugin and then check

I tried deactivating the plugin, and updating the pages. no luck ??

The image has the following error:

    A TimThumb error has occured
    The following error(s) occured:
    No image specified

    Query String : src=&h=120&w=120&zc=1
    TimThumb version : 2.8.10

Have you changed any file permissions on your server? Or have you updated or not updated timthumb recently?

I am not farmiliar with the theme you are using, but searching for solutions for that error will give you a good start.

no, haven’t changed any permissions or updated anything. I did update timthumb to the new version today, but that didn’t fix it.

I’ll try searching for the error message like you suggested. thanks!
