No thumbnails created/visible after uploading pictures.

I can’t see any thumbnails of my uploaded pictures, only empty squares

Gallery preview works, I can see all pictures.

I’ve increased wp memory limit to 256mb with define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256’ ) in wp-config and I’ve also set chmod -R 777 on gallery-bank directory. album-thumbs and thumbs directories are empty even tho I’ve uploaded many pictures.

Also, why is it required to F5 the album page to see the pictures I’ve uploaded. Shouldn’t this be done automatically after upload is finished?

In the System Status tab I see

Graphic Library Settings
No GD support!

Am I missing some libs?
