No thumbnails, no embed play

    Hi!

    I tried this plugin on 2020 theme with only learndash plugin and Lazy Load for Videos plugins enabled.

    I tried pasting Vimeo public-video URLs into standard gutenberg Vimeo Video Embed block. I also tried pasting Vimeo public-video URLs into text block.

    In both cases, there were no thumbnails, just blank theme page background. The blank areas were clickable, but instead of playing an embed, they loaded the vimeo page.

    All Lazy Load For Videos settings were default, video server thumbnails were enabled, and I used the “update posts” button just to be sure.

    I can’t get this plugin to work at all.

    Anyone have any suggestions or advice?

  • I had the a similar issue although the page is just using a Gutenberg YouTube block with GeneratePress. The video displayed after a 56% padding at the top so a huge amount of white space, once you clicked “play” the video disappeared and only played sound.

    Ugh… I’ve seen this issue in one of my sites but I haven’t been able to reproduce it when I created a new WordPress site with the same theme. I’ll try to take a closer look in the next days.

    ALRIGHT, this issue should be fixed with version 2.8.6. Please update your plugin, clear your browser cache (to make sure you get the most up-to-date CSS) and give it another try. Let me know in case this is still an issue, ideally with the name of your theme and a link to a sample blog post where the issue can be seen.
