I’m using Photo Gallery Version 1.8.18 on WordPress 6.4.1.

If I upload directorys with jpgs to
    /wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/
with ftp and trying to add them to a gallery, no thumbnails are generated.
Even the Add Images Browser does not display any thumbs while browsing in that directory.
chmod 777 to the directory does not bring any change.

When I upload the images via the Add Images Browser, it works with the thumbs without any problems. However, there are many albums with photos, which is why I would like to use the FTP upload.

There is nothing in the error_log.
    Any idea?

    Hi,

Uploading the images into /wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/ via FTP can’t work in such a way because we also store information in the database about the images and display them according to the database information.

    Thanks!

    Have a nice day!
