    hi,

for some reason, there doesn’t seem to be a place to add a title for the blog/post subscribe widget. Am I missing something? Granted, it’s been a while since I’ve had to set this up but honestly, there’s no way to add a title here! How are people supposed to know what they’re signing up for? If I insert a text block above it to say what it’s for, it leaves a big gap between the two which looks bad. Seems kind of crazy to not have this. Set me straight here!

    Thanks!

  • Hi @iguanamom,

I’m afraid we’ve replaced the subscription form widget with the more compact subscription form block as part of an effort to clean up duplicate/redundant blocks.

I’m sorry if it’s not working as you expected. As you guessed, the workaround for adding a title is to add it as a text block above the subscription form. You may be able to remove that gap you mention by adding some custom CSS. Unfortunately, it’s outside the scope of our support to provide CSS customizations.

Ok thanks. I was able at least to change the text of the button to say what it was for. I think it’s a mistake to remove the title though for what it’s worth.

Thanks for the confirmation and reply!
