I manage a site where blogposts are often deleted in replace with new ones that happens on weekly basis. On results I experience “no title” as I think because it leads to a non existing post anymore. Is it possible, if I’m right, to keep a post name, but not as a link it is now, as just a title, maybe with info “deleted” or “no access”?

    Hello @pawelgp,

In order to save on storage over time, Koko Analytics only saves the numerical post ID as this is much much cheaper to store than a string of an unknown length. Therefore it is impossible for the plugin to retrieve the title after the original record (post) has been deleted.

Due to Koko Analytics design storing the title would either mean creating a separate table with normalized post titles or re-storing the post title for each day, but both approaches are not ideal.

Ideally you would keep the posts around somewhere, possibly with a custom post status of “expired” to distinguish between currently active posts and past posts? Koko Analytics would be able to deal with that out of the box.

I hope that helps. If not, let us know please.
