    Hello,

I have no top and footer menu, and the option to do so has disappeared.
What’s going on, and how do I fix this?

    I’m using Hueman V3.1

    Thank you in advance!

  • On the menu options do you have the menus assigned to the correct locations. At the bottom of the menu editor. The theme may of updated the menu names. So any menu previously assigned would dispear until it’s reassigned.

    Hi,
Can you post a link to your site ?

    Hello 550 and mehrdads,

Normally, you would be able to assign a menu. I am aware of that.
But the menu assignment has disappeared, and so has the menu.

Unfortunately, my website cannot be accessed due to the revising of the child theme for the new version 3 upgrade.

And no, the problem described above has nothing to do with the child theme.
The ability to assign a menu has disappeared with one of the many updates in the past couple of days.

Change your theme to parent theme (Hueman) and feedback us.

    WordPress menus from dashboard says:

Your theme does not natively support menus, but you can use them in sidebars by adding a “Custom Menu” widget on the Widgets screen.

I reinstalled WordPress core files, I reinstalled Hueman, I switched to Hueman parent to see if it is caused by an outdated child theme, I’ve checked plugin compatibility, I cleared cache, I cleared transients, I cleared browser cache.

There’s not much more that I can do, really.

I have no idea but I’m sorry.
Tell us names of your plugins

Do you try it with disabled plugins ?

And don’t forget that to refresh your site, you must use CTRL+F5 .

    (@fadingmusic)

Yes I tried to disable all plugins one by one and all together, cleared browser cache and refresh the page with CTRL + F5. I even tried other browsers as well.

This happened right after one of Huemans many updates from the past couple of days. So I think it might be a bug.

    I’m using Hueman theme v3.1.
I have no idea. Please wait, other guys are more professional (Mr:bdbrown,Dezel,Nikeo and …).
    I hope solve your problem.

    Hello mehrdads,

Thanks for the heads up, but that did not solve my problem.
There are no problems concerning the stylesheet.

I’ve disabled all plugins to see if that works. I also reinstalled both WordPress and Huemand to see if that solves the problem. I always clear both WordPress and browser cache afterwards.

    None of the solutions worked.

Your theme does not natively support menus, but you can use them in sidebars by adding a “Custom Menu” widget on the Widgets screen.

This tells me there’s something wrong with either the code or configuration (or combination of both) that might trigger this to happen.

Do you test another theme ?
