No upcoming events after update to 3.10

I got the same problem. Any help/hints would be appreciated!

Basically, the list-widget.php file was changed with the update. If you had previously customized the widget according the instructions given here ( https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/ ) then you had the old list-widget.php file overriding the new file. The update changed several things in the file which made the old file not function correctly and just give “There are no upcoming events at this time.”

What you need to do is –
1) Copy the new list-widget.php file
2) Incorporate any changes you had made to the old file into the new file
3) Copy the new, updated file into your theme tribe-events > widgets folder (overwrite the old file)

This should fix the problem.

To elaborate a little bit, there are two new variables at the top of the new list-widget.php file. If you copy those into your old theme override, you will be golden.

Thanks guys this worked for me as well. Strangely this issue only affected one of the three sites I am using the widget. I guess it had something to do with the custom theme on that site.
