no update available

We have been using Unite Gallery for our school website for many years and are very satisfied with it. Now I found that we are using plugin version 1.7.44 which is very old. We also don’t get any automatic updates like with the other plugins. That’s why I didn’t notice it for a long time. Why is this and how can we solve the problem. Many thanks for the help.
