• Although not updated it still works. Adding the Google Tag Manager ID in general settings loads the HTML script.

The general advice is to load it right after <body> but this plugin loads it much further down. So probably you might need to check your theme if you want it loaded earlier.

  • This is as funny as sad it is.

I’m trying to be as polite as possible to such a bad way of using the WordPress forum.

Please try to understand how a plugin works before saying what you said and downvote the plugin.

This plugin, if you think about it, does 1 thing, outputs a value that you save in the dashboard, in every page of your site. WordPress has hooks that haven’t change since more then 5 years ago that allows plugin developers to do that, what should the plugin author change to update the plugin?

I really disagree with your way of using the WordPress forum since its making me and other users waste time and delivers very unreal data about a plugin, which is strange since you also wasted time posting this.

I don’t want to get into an argument with you just want to say that some plugins ( take “Hello Dolly” by Matt for example ) really don’t require updates.

    Have a nice one!

My one star ratings are also meant a as a ‘trigger’. You can disagree with that or not but I will still comment on plugin updated for a long time after I have tested them.

I am glad you responded and explained why the plugin is not being updated (or neededs to be updated). I have tested it and will update my review.

@mfjtf Just updated the plugin with newer js from Google that should resolve the placement issue. The noscript iframe gets added a bit lower or higher depending on if the theme you’re using has support for injecting it higher in the dom — it’s currrently in a beta release here — I’ll do some more testing and probably release v1.0.2 with the updates over the weekend.
