No use for websites 4-6 Gb or more … very slow

    The Duplicator plugin gives them fifty thousand kicks to your plugin. Your plugin is very slow not used to make backups of large sites of several GBs, is a nuisance and is only useful for hobbyists or small websites.

    Hi,

    Please can you provide a link to your log file for the problematic backup? (You can download it from the “Existing Backups” tab of your UpdraftPlus settings page).

    It’ll be too long to paste into the forum here, but you can download it to your computer, and share it with Dropbox, or paste it in pastebin.com, or any similar service, and post the link here.

    I can confirm that other users are successfully using UpdraftPlus to backup sites as large as 100GB, at good speeds. As such, it sounds like there is a particular issue on your webserver. With the log files, we can investigate and make suggestions.

    Got exact same problem. Site weight 4.5GB (mostly photos) and when run, it never finish. Some time ago, when was less than 4GB, backup went well.

    Lot of:
    0581.267 (0) The time we have been running (581.3) is approaching the resumption interval (606) - increasing resumption interval to 612

    Tried remove plugin and do local copy only to see how long it will take… will advise shortly. Please let me know if you would like any log.

    ps. other sites approx 1GB, and even multisite 2GB… on same server, but different hosting accounts (with same settings) working well.

    I have run right now another one, with Debug option on in UpdraftPlus and will see what going on.

    In mean time I added
    define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_NO_BINZIP’, true);
    to wp-config but it doesn’t look to improve,
