No user/guest submissions

    Hello,

    I maintain a wordpress website for the History Center in the library in which I work. We are attempting to build a searchable directory of our national park deed files from our community. We needed a free plug-in because of our limited budget (as we are a public library). So far, Directorist seems like a good fit. However, my only question is whether there is anyway to disallow site users to submit directory information or edit listings?

    For instance, our listings are deed information with the original image files attached for our patrons to browse. We don’t want patrons to be able to edit listings. Perhaps I have overlooked an option or perhaps this question has been answered elsewhere, but I cannot find it.

    Edited to add, our page for park lands has not been published yet.

  • Hey @scplshistory,

    Although we do not have this option available, one way to do this would be to get rid of the Add Listing Form. You can delete the Add Listing Page, turn off the Submit Listing Button from Dashboard and you should be good to go. You can always add listing form the backend.
