No video streaming with version 6.1

Hello Bjarne,

this issue might be caused by not clearing the HTML cache. Could you please check that if you use a caching plugin?

Also, if you use CDN, that needs to be cleared as well.

There issues might appear if you strip the version numbers from the JS files. Some site speed optimization guides recommend doing that. Pleaes let us know if that’s the case.

Nah, no caching plugin or optimisation hacks. Tested in Chrome and IE11. Hitting Ctrl-R several times. Also disabled and enabled the plugin, still nothing. And downgrading to 6.0.5.24 fixed the issue immediately.

I should add that I tried to use some RTMP stream and I noticed no issues.

Hi Bjarne,

We have an answer for you on our forum. The gist is that as our video checker can’t see your file (internal), FV Player assumes it’s MP4 when in fact it’s RTMP. We’ve sent you a couple of workarounds and look forward to working with you to achieve a robust and permanent solution for private RTMP streams.
