• Resolved Waup

My non-admin users don’t have any Visual Editor.

It just displays a box with white text.

There’s posts from 2 years ago, but no solutions work and don’t wanna edit core files.

    Any ideas? thks

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thks Esmi. The culprit was ‘WordPress SimplePop Plus’. Once deactivated, the basic menu (the one without the H1,H2 selector dropdown).
