No way to set default category anymore?

    I used to have it set up so that posts from the Pressgram app would get categorized as “Pressgram” automatically. I show Pressgram photos on a specific page in my WP blog, so this was important for that reason.

    I can’t find a way to set a default category for incoming Pressgram posts OR even to set the category manually from the app while posting. What gives? Am I missing something?

    Default categories can be set in-app on a post-by-post basis by tapping your site while on the Publish Settings page and selecting Categories.

    In-app, you can also set default categories to which your pressgram will be posted. Visit the app Settings and tap the site for which you would like to set default categories or tags. These will be selected in-app any time you publish.

    We removed auto-categorization in the plugin since this is now present in the application itself. It also allowed us to more readily implement control of multiple categories by the plugin. You will now notice that you can set up custom processing for multiple incoming categories.

    On one of my sites, I am currently handling 4 different categories in order to post to 4 different post types. You can see an additional implementation of this here.
