No webp generated

  • Hi! I am facing a strange error when I try optimize my wast media folder. Log is saying that images are processed but there are no new files created at all. First I thought it could be an issue with permissions but no, Ive check ftp and could confirem there were no new webp files at all.

    Luckily your revert button saved the day but it would be great to use your plugin and optimize my web.

    Thank you for any advice anybody can offer.

    Hi, unfortunately I’m on holiday and in these weeks I won’t be able to connect and correct any errors in the program. As soon as I get back I will try to make a new version that corrects (at least in part) these problems.

    For your problem I would first try to see if another plugin that converts images works because this way you exclude server problems. So, if you then want to try using my plugin (thanks), I would try from the media library to load a single image and verify that it converts. Let me know if you can get everything working so far.
    In this case if when you try to convert all the images together it doesn’t succeed then it’s a bug. Otherwise it could be a server configuration problem.
