• When I go to access our webpage or login to our WP admin I get a blank page that says “error” in the upper left corner. That is it, nothing else.

    I have looked file manager to see which files have been recently modified, and none seem to have been recently modified, except for one. And it’s been modified in most of the folders – post.php

    Could this be a contributing factor?

    Hi ShawnaM, I don’t know enough about the errors in your logs to be able to help.

    Fortunately you should now have provided enough information for other people to help.

    Are using Ioncube to secure your site? That is where the problem is. Either you or the host is using this.

    So, I have not made any headway on our problem.

    GoDaddy does not provide ionCube support.

    Does anyone know if removing the files for ionCube and/or ZendOptimizer will it affect the remaining files? And if it is possible to remove them without any problems, where & how do you remove the ionCube and ZendOptimizer files.

    I would try to contact both. I found this number, 1-253-242-2744 for ionCube and 1-408-253-8800 for Zend.

    A file called post.php file had been added on to the backend that wasn’t authorized.
