• I have installed wordpress 3.3.1 and am using the Graphene Theme 1.6.2.

My problem is that I have a custom sidebar that I would like to alter.

I can see NO widgets at all.

I can also see no way of altering a sidebar.

    Can anyone help please?

  • Try adding a widget to your sidebar.

There aren’t any widgets – the widget page is empty

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress 3.3.1.

All OK now. Had to do a manual download of 3.3.2 as the 3.3.1 download wasn’t available and the automatic download didn’t work.

    Many thanks
