    Help!

i just removed something from my sidebar, and now all of a sudden it’s saying “Add widgets to this sidebar in the Widgets panel under Appearance in the WordPress Admin.”

How do I get this message to go away?

using Headway 3 if that helps.

  • Rebecca,

You could just drag a text widget into the sidebar and leave it blank, this should be a fast way to remove this message!

    Thanks,

    Nathan

    Thanks Nathan!

that’s what I thought, but i cant seem to drag it…

hmm strange, the only other way would be to remove it in the page templates php file.

You could post the code in here and I could tell you what to remove?

But the text widget would be the best and easiest way as when you would like to use it again, you wouldn’t have to re-write the code!

    Any more luck yet?

AH! I read your first message wrong. I thought you said to drag the widget area out, not drag a text widget in.

    Ppoblem solved! Thank you!

    No problem!
