No Wiki Syntax

I can’t discover whether Wiki Lite supports any sort of wiki markup. There is an old message (ca. 10 mo. ago) saying wik syntax was in the works for Wiki Pro, but not Wiki Lite. Does that mean Wiki Lite does not support any sort of markup, or only WikiSyntax specifically?

Since the whole point of a wiki is the simplified markup and hyperlinking (remembering wikis originated in Apple’s HyperCard), AFAIC, without those, it’s just not a wiki.

I’m also experiencing the same issue others are reporting viz. the displaced sidebar on the discussion tab.

I’m going to look elsewhere for a wiki plugin. Gotta have the markup.
