No WooCommerce Support for free?

  • I have spent the last couple hours uploading products, only to view one and see that there is no description showing on the product pages, and no option to actually buy the products. There’s only the product title, image, and related products showing.

    Anyone have any idea how to get the actual option to purchase the products?

    Would you mind including a link to one of your products so we can take a look at the issue? I just double checked our demo site and the products are working correctly in the free version, with descriptions, add to cart buttons, etc. All the standard WooCommerce support seems to be in place, but I’d love to see what’s causing the issues on your site.

    There’s quite a bit of custom CSS added here that’s overriding the theme’s CSS…it includes some “display: none;” rules that are hiding various elements including the product description and add to cart button. I’m not sure whether this custom CSS is part of your child theme or added via a plugin, but if you can disable whichever one it is temporarily, you can check out the product page at that point and it should be back to normal.

    Oh dear! Thank you so much. I was just hired to come in and set up the shop today and I was about to pull my hair out! Had no idea someone might have actually hidden the descriptions. ???♀? Thank you for your awesome support!

    Hello. I just started creating my blog.
    How do I add recipes? also, separately. Should this be a page with subpages? A category with pages?
    Can I add subcategories to my recipes page? like breakfast, lunch, dinner, sauces, etc. or would that be pages under “recipes”?
    Can I get rid of the blank portion of the page under the page picture?

    Am so confused.

    I want to create a monetized blog and am using the free version. Are there limitations on this with the free version?
