No "word" method

On the home page here for Easy Custom Auto Excerpt, under “Features”, it says, “Excerpt your post based on word length”. But, there is no “word” method in the General Options; just character and paragraph methods.
I don’t see any way to size an excerpt based on number of words. Am I just missing it?
