    I moved two sites to goDaddy but no wp-config file was created. Rather, one was created and it was empty. I had to install a new version of WordPress, rename the wp-config file, use the new database/user/pwd and copy it back after the installation. It worked fine, but just wanted to let you know.

  • Check the archive.zip file and see if the wp-config.php file is present and contains data. If not then when the package was created it probably had issues archiving the file. If the file is present then it may be a permissions issue on the destination server…
