NO XML sitemap generated

  • I just ran into the same problem. I was noticing a bunch of 404 errors on the sitemap_index.xml file. It was working for me before. I was able to fix the problem by turning off the XML sitemap functionality and then turning it on again.

    joneiseman solution also worked for myself after receiving 404 errors.

    Turn off XML sitemaps
    Click Save.
    Turn on XML sitemaps
    Click Save

    Test your sitemap.
