no xml sitemaps

    I have Yoast SEO set up on several sites. I have enable the function to create xml sitemaps and yet I keep getting warnings from Google, etc. webmaster tools there there is no sitemap. What’s the problem? One of the sites nearly dropped off the map entirely because it didn’t have a sitemap where it should have and I didn’t realize Yoast wasn’t doing its job. In several of these sites I have been forced to disable this feature (as it is untrustworthy) and use a free-standing xml sitemap plugin instead.
