Nobody cant comment on my Posts

  • “Comments are closed”

    I already did this:
    1. Went into Discussion Settings and “Allow people to post comments on new articles” is Checked. ” Automatically close comments on articles older than days ” is Unchecked.
    2. Disabled all my plugins.
    3. Went into “phpmyadmin” and tried to repair every table.

    After all this steps people cant comment on my posts. What can i do?

  • Try deactivating ALL plugins and switch to the twentytwelve theme.

    Just did. Im on twentytwelve theme without a single plugin being active. The problem persist. Im out of ideas :/

    Hmm, I see alyeska Child theme – make sure you’ve cleared SuperCache on your site.

    Done. Activated supercache, cleared the cache then de-activated it again. I also could see Alyeska on Internet Explorer, but on Chrome the twenty twelve was on. Now on both browsers i see Twenty Twelve. Comments are closed still tho :/

    Have you looked under Quick Edit on your pages/posts – is the box checked to allow comments?

    That did the trick. Dont know why but it was ticked off. Thank you very much WPyogi! Im going to tick all those boxes now.

    Quick question, is there any way to make that option by default? I dont want to forget to do it some day when posting a post and i just checked the “add new” page and there is nothing about “allowing comments”, so the only way for me to check that box is after posting by going back to the “Post” page
