  • Just troubleshooting…

Did you check the registration forms setup to make sure that it’s set to the specific user role that can access the form?

Did you make sure the settings are enabled in the user role settings?

Did you make sure your email setup is configured correctly?

I’ve got 6 enabled registration forms and they work fine and register my fake test accounts as they’re supposed to.

Unless it’s a wordpress or mail function problem, then it’d be the UM mapping of the form to the user role.

Hopefully they will get you squared away.

    Hi @arbremojo

Did you check if the WP Admin > Register form is enabled? Are the two forms added on the same page?

No they are not in the same page, should they?
I have a page where I ask the user if he wants to be role1 or role2 with two buttons, and each button sends to a page where corresponding form is set.

    Hi @arbremojo

Could you please provide a screenshot of your Register form settings? You can upload the screenshots via imgur.com and then share the URLs here so we can review them.

Here are the settings of the two registration forms:

Those two forms are in two different pages

Also the client registration form doesn’t work anymore. When I click on “register” button, the page scrolls back to the top and no error is displayed, but I’m unable to register.

Maybe you would like admin credentials to check?

By the way, I tried to put the two forms on the same page, marked as Registration page in UM settings, and we still have the same behaviour for the two forms…

@audreyprice Thank you for your response!
Are your 6 forms on the same page or one on each different page ?

Unfortunately it seems like everything is well set up (but I may be wrong, otherwise it would work)…

What do you mean by “Did you check the registration forms setup to make sure that it’s set to the specific user role that can access the form?” ? I didn’t see anything about restrict a form to a specific role, apart restrict the whole page…

    Hi,

This may be because of a plugin/theme conflict. Can you do a conflict test and see if the issue goes away? This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?

I just tried to disable all plugins and change theme to Twenty Twenty One, and the issue still occures…

I think I fixed the problem. It turns out I duplicated the role1 registration form to create the role2 registration form, and I think it may have been a conflict here. Indeed, I added some condition fields, and even though I deleted them, they were still coming back all the time.
By creating a new form from scratch, it seems to work again.
